Songs & Scripture: “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing” (Charles Wesley)

Did you know that angels are never recorded in Scripture as singing? If this intrigues you, I found this page by Answers In Genesis really great. At Jesus’ birth they were “praising God and proclaiming” but never exactly stated as singing. Despite this, I still think this is one of the most Scripture-rich Christmas-time worship songs.

A few versions I love– unfortunately, couldn’t find one with all the verses. Pick one to listen to while you read the Scriptures! Scripture links will open in a new tab so it won’t interrupt your listening.
