Happy Sunday!! We sang this song this morning at my church  (The Midtown Bridge Church, Atlanta, GA) and I loved it! So simple but I just love when we are singing the same Scriptures we are studying (still in our Matthew 6 study entitled “Rhythm”).

I’ve added the obvious Scriptures from the Lord’s Prayer, but also found a few other references tied into that passage that I wasn’t as familiar with. I love seeing how the Old & New Testament ties together!

For those of you who think of the Lord’s Prayer as a stuffy, boring passage, I hope you enjoy this! And be prepared to WAKE UP!

Our Father (BJ Putnam)

Our Father who is in heaven (Isaiah 63:16, Isaiah 64:8, 2 Thessalonians 2:16)
Hallowed be your name (Matthew 6:9, Luke 11:2)
Your name is great and greatly to be praised (Psalm 96:4)

Let everything that has breath (x3)
Praise the Lord (Psalm 150:6)

Oh, oh, oh

Praise the Lord (x3)
We worship you

Your name is great and greatly to be praised

Let everything that has breath (x3)
Praise the Lord

Oh, oh, oh

(Repeat this part 3x)
Your kingdom come, your will be done
Your kingdom come, your will be done (Matthew 26:42Luke 11:2)
On earth as it is in heaven
On earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:9)

With Love,

Lauren
